Does the Wedding Celebrant organizes my wedding?

A question that I often get. The answer to that question is simple…no.
Your wedding celebrant is the person who’s responsible for the wedding ceremony. Please read the blog article I wrote about the ceremony; why choose a wedding celebrant! That is the moment on your wedding day that you both are in front of family and friends. All dressed up and perhaps in front of a wonderful decorated flower arch or gazebo.
Hire a professional.
Organizing a wedding is definitely the job of a professional wedding planner. There’s more to it than I can possibly come up with. And believe me when I say, that I’ve seen cases that couples who wished they hired a wedding planner.
The wedding celebrant works closely together with the wedding planner. Apart from the wedding dinner, the wedding ceremony is an important part of your wedding day in Crete. Every little detail must be right. It is there where you see that a wedding celebrant can’t be the wedding planner and vice versa. We all have our specialities and the goal is to bring them together in a way that it all works like a charm.
Always consider hiring a wedding planner.
Both the celebrant and the wedding planner are at the location well before the ceremony takes place.
We check with the DJ if the music system and the microphone work. As the wedding celebrant, I meet with family and friends that came with the wedding couple. It’s always better to meet well before the actual ceremony. That is also the moment to fine-tune the ceremony in the event new stories pop up!
To sum things up, always consider hiring a wedding planner to organise your abroad wedding.
